The very first night I stayed it was awesome, hospitality was great but the second and third time I was there within a weeks time it was worse each time. Thie first night the card did not work in the door and I had to go back and get a new room, had no problems out of the lady at all. The second time was ok but, the third time the lady running it was so snotty and rude it was not funny. The card did not work again, they gave us the same room every time we went, I had to get hateful in order for them to change my room because of the card not working again for the third time they tried to give it to us. I called and asked for a blow dryer she said you don't have one in your room I said no she said yeah ok what room do you need it in and I told her she said we don't have any blow dryers and hung up on me. When they gave us the card we told them that was the same one they gave us before twice and it didn't work she was very snotty and said it will this time well it didn't and I took it back she gave me a hard time messed with it and said it will this time, took it back a third time and asked for my money back they wouldn't do that I argued until I got a new room. She told us several different prices because of times I had to argue that as well because her excuses didn't add up because we were there two other times before at the same time paying the same price and she was trying to jack up the price big time because of what time we got there, we argued and got it the same price as before finally. We should have just walked out then and I know we will never go back there. Her excuse for not switching the room when the card wouldn't work was the hotel was full with reservations and there were no more than 10 rooms used if that. It was horrible and I Pray God shuts them down.

I have stayed here many times in the past for my motorcycle rides to the south. This motel could use some upgrades but the rooms are clean. Parking is safe and the neighborhood is safe. Plenty of places nearby to eat at. Shopping and food one off ramp to the north. The owners are friendly.

I was on a business trip in Troy, Oh and decided to stay at the Super 8 due to the proximity to my jobsite. I am pleased to say I wasn't disappointed.

The rooms are large and when sharing w/ a colleague you don't have to trip over each other.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is also lots of parking. Food is within walking distance since there is a family restuarant and Wendys-next door and a Subway and HotHead Burrito right across the street.

I know you get what you pay for; but you ought to get better than this. I doubt anything has been changed since the 70's, including the mattress and towels. Bed creaked, bathroom smaller than travel trailer size, and light bulbs seemed 20 watt or less.
I'd say it was just right for carnival workers, but even they would be offended.
Drive by, drive on, or spend more; your mental health is worth it.
