I know you get what you pay for; but you ought to get better than this. I doubt anything has been changed since the 70's, including the mattress and towels. Bed creaked, bathroom smaller than travel trailer size, and light bulbs seemed 20 watt or less.
I'd say it was just right for carnival workers, but even they would be offended.
Drive by, drive on, or spend more; your mental health is worth it.

We stopped here on our drive home from Florida and the hotel's exterior is really deceiving. It looks so nice from the outside that we paid the price and checked in. It was more expensive than our stops at two other hotels while enroute but thought it would be fine. We got in and there was a gap under the door so big the room was freezing. We had to block it with towels and crank the heat. The beds felt like they were 30 years old, very well used to the point of being sloppy soft. The room was clean enough but very old looking with dated decor and only 2 towels left for a double room with 4 occupants. The breakfast was very limited with bagels, bread and cereal. Wouldn't stay there again.

great service and clean room. the employes are very friendly and helpful. we planning to go next year when we go to florida for winter. front desk lady has a great personality and she speaks well easy to understand. allover very nice and comfortable.

Looking for a nice quiet, very clean, simple place to stay? This is it without paying the big bucks! Personnel are very friendly and helpful, and treat you like a person, not a number. The rooms are roomy, very clean with furniture in good condition. Do not expect the Hilton, but this motel is well run by people who care about you and the rooms they provide for you.
Eat at nearby small, local restaurants, or go to the local grocery and bring back something to slip into the microwave. A nice, peaceful & safe stay...and a good nights stay for your money!
