My husband and I have been enjoying put in bay, for 25 years during our marriage and I've been going since a little girl with my parents, but usually docking our boat at one of the many fine marinas. We found Ashley's B&B last year and still take our boat, but after finding this lovely, authentic, and very comfortable B&B, this is where we call home when we are in port. Everything about it is wonderful... It's comfortable & clean and the beds are amazing ! I absolutely love their front porch, whether it be a great cup of coffe and a book in the a.m. or a cocktail or glass of wine before going out for the evening. We've even enjoyed Pizza on the patio after a "late evening" recapping a fun evening with friends or newly made friends staying here. The "front porch" is a great place for watching the world go by, and just simply relaxing ! Another thing, after a full day & evening at PIB, is sleeping in a comfortable bed and having total peace and quiet and wonderful rest. No offense to the hotels on PIB, but honestly if you want a great nights rest... , and the cozy comfy feeling you want while on vacation, you must stay here. The continental breakfast is really generous, with all sorts of things, and more than "the norm". Personally, I'm a "hot breakfast" or "eggs casserole" sort of person, or just good Irish Oatmeal with walnuts & brown sugar & toast , so I'd prefer this was offered through the week rather than just on the weekends, but they do let you use their kitchen or microwave in the kitchen galley area, as was the case when we stayed there recently. Either way, the continental breakfast is still WAY nice... Judy and Bob, are absolutely amazing (Can I just say... too wonderful) !!! They also remember their guests which makes you feel just like family. We've had family as far as St. Louis refering here now. Their staff members are just as wonderful too. They've got a good thing going on here... Stop in and stay, and enjoy all the wonder of their charming B&B. You will not be sorry :)
