My husband and myself stayed one night at the Park Hotel. It was great. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms which are not in your room are just like a health club restroom. The roundhouse is connected to the hotel and yes it is very noisy. However the air condition was loud enough to tone down the loud music. The location is perfect, right downtown. I will be back!!!

I have stayed at the Park Hotel probably a dozen times over the years and am going again this summer. I have always found the staff attentive and the place is always clean. We go during the week so the shared bathroom is not an issue. You can't beat the location. I've never found the music to be that big a deal. You cn always close the window and turn on the AC

when you call to reserve the room...they inform you of the shared bathrooms, the no t.v's or phones, and that it's right on the main strip of the island right next door to the round house bar so it WILL be loud....then you have the OPTION to continue with your reservation or decline and look somewhere else with more modern ammenities.
There's a big difference between a modern hotel and then an original victorian sleeping house built in the 1870s...

Based on the hotel website you would think that it is a classy bed and breakfast but it is far from that. In front of the hotel is the chicken patio and a really big bar. The walls in our room were shaking from the band that played until about 2:00 am. Our room had no tv, and you have to share a nasty dirty bathroom with other people. This is not a nice get-away place or a place for families with children. Put in Bay is definitely a party town. If you don't drink or own a boat there's really not much to do.
