Had a conference to attend the weekend I stayed and hotels were swamp due to some tyoe of event Canton has once a year, from my understanding. When checked in one room pulled sheets back and they were nasty as well as towels and wash clothes. The young lady at the front desk came to observe our observations and accomidated us with another room and adjusted our price. A plus for them!!!!! I would like to also inform you all that the hotel doesn't look anything like the pics! And you say cheap hotel it look like the slumms. Trash was left in hall ways from the day before, housekeeping is a joke, at least @ this location.

Complete and utter disaster. I am shocked that anyone would stay the night here. Smoke filled lobby that was filthy. First floor room at cinder block walls, a wall unit heater that wasn't working and a bathroom light that woudn't turn on. A cold, dank, filthy room with no heat.

I left and checked in at another location in the area. This place needs to be condemned. NOT the sort of place a family, or solo traveler would frequent. I imagine it is suitable for someone looking for a bed for a few hours or to get out of frigid cold. Even then, I would think twice.

When we arrived at the Day's Inn in Canton OH we became very concerned to see the screens hanging from the windows and literally NO cars in the parking lot at 8 p.m. When the very nice clerk showed us the room it was already all we could do not to gag from the absolutely filthy carpet, walls, etc. Even the paint behind the check in was peeling. I know Days Inn has gone down hill but I won't trust one again after this. It was a total slum hotel.

Dirty and not recommended. Once we saw the room we were assigned, immediately told staff we were leaving and asked for a refund. DO NOT GO THERE!
