Looks new from the outside. Inside carpet is heavily worn, wiring is defective. Overall room was clean, got a hot shower and the food was good. But, the lamp next to the TV randomly turned on and off when the switch was on, told the front desk and the next day the lamp was unplugged. Guess that fixed it??? Outlet next to the bed doesn't work (so couldn't charge my cell phone & use it as an alarm both). Light in the kitchen had a high frequency noise coming from it. Kitchenette seemed nice, with a conveniant island, but I didn't use it. Staff was friendly. Location off the tollway is great! Food in the lounge was good for hotel food. Bar prices were reasonable, and drinks weren't watered down.

This is a nice hotel. It's newer and modern. The common areas are very clean and it offers a business centre and an on site restaurant in it's lobby. However we have come to expect free breakfast from Holiday Inn and here they do not offer that. They do have a breakfast buffet at $10.99 per person and kids eat free. I brought 2 kids and they were pretty excited to learn that there were water slides and a large water play area however hotel guests do not get to use it unless they pay $19.99 per person (kids or adults) and even if you are not going to swim they will charge you $6.00 to watch your kids swim. Hmph. This is not cool considering the pool did not even open until 4pm. We decided not to swim so I can't rate the pool. Our room was nice and modern the beds were comfy and it was clean. Easy highway access. I must say the most memorable part of our stay here was discovering live lobsters in a claw machine. Yes the kind if claw machine that you try to catch stuffed animals with. No joke I took a picture for you because it is just that interesting. Yes it does drop down into the chute. Do not leave your kids unattended in the lobby with a couple of bucks or they may bring home a new friend :)

Travis, Tyler not sure of the name, he was the receptionist very rude. We as a family had 3 rooms total, and my daughter was fortunate enough to book her room online at a cheaper rate. This receptionist was upset that she got it at that rate, and made a big deal about it as if it was coming out of his paycheck. Online it said the waterpark would stay open until 11 pm, but they closed it at 9pm, and the waterpark water was cold even the hot tub!

I like the layout of the rooms and the size is exceptionally larger than a normal room. Had a fridge, microwave, and counter and sink for family stays. Has a water park at the hotel. Nice bar with TV's for sports. location is perfect for travelers on the Ohio Turnpike or airport travelers. Lots of restaurants near the facility. Red lobster is a favorite right down the street. Also a Crackerbarrel a short drive from the place. 4 Stars for sure..!
