The staff could not be better. Helpful, sweet, and full of information. However, this hotel is in dire need of renovation. Feels Circa 1980. I wouldn't recommend it till its renovated.

My wife and I were welcomed warmly at reception, told about the free wine and cheese reception in the afternoon, then told again by phone after we got settled. Our room was comfortable and clean, Internet access was speedy, and we had a good breakfast the next morning. Never again, though, will we take a room next to the exercise room, from which the sounds of a treadmill and other machines, as well as a wall-mounted television, penetrated the common wall. This location was duly pointed out to us by desk staff, with the option of taking a different room, but we had a lot of luggage and decided to be on the ground floor, supposing that no one would be working out at 10:00 at night or 5:30 in the morning. Our mistake! We blocked the connecting air vent and slept well enough. Our only other problem was that the only luggage trolley in sight was coming apart, and although we were able to use it checking in, it was out of service when we went to check out. Still, we would stay at this hotel again. We had previously stayed at the Courtyard across the street, but this Hampton Inn is better value.
I stayed only for 1 night for business. It was exactly 1.7 miles from my work destination. The front desk staff was very helpful, althought they only had 1 computer for 2 associates when I checked in. The room was quiet - I got a great night's sleep. That was helpful becuase my meeting started at 7:30 a.m. There are dozens of restuarants near by. I went to the Bonefish Grill and had a wonderful meal. I would definitely stay there again.
Check-in: Was quick and painless. The front desk called almost immediately to check if the room was satisfactory
Suite: I booked the king suite with kitchenette and whirlpool. This is their most expensive room here. I included pictures because that's the one thing I could not find anywhere on the net(pics on jacuzzi). The rooms were nicely laid out with the bedroom area completely separated by two doors from the living room area. Kitchen had full fridge/freezer(no ice trays), microwave, and dishes and glasses. The whirlpool is actually in the bathroom set up like a tub/shower combo. So if you use the shower in the morning and plan on using the whirlpool later then you'll need to clean the tub. The whirlpool portion is outdated and small. I'm 5'6 and I was barely able to stretch my legs out. There is no way to control the jets, they are full blast or nothing. I've never seen a whirlpool tub like that. You have to set a timer outside the whirlpool so the jets will turn on. The jets seriously sound like a truck and when you lay back you can feel the tub vibrating. Just not relaxing at all. There is a door that you can open so you can view the TV in the bedroom area but no way you can hear the TV lol. It may be due to the sound reverberation because the whirlpool is in the bathroom. There is a TV in the living room/kitchen area also so if you're partner wants to watch something else you're set there. Don't recommend the whirlpool room. Not worth the extra money. You can get the regular king suite if you need the xtra space
Now to the pillows.. there's plenty of them but as soon as you touch them they darn near go flat. I don't even like firm pillows but unless you stack 3 of them on top of one another you get no support at all. Just left the front desk and this is the only pillow available. My neck is stiff right now so I'm going out to buy a neck pillow. If I can't get a good nights rest, down 1 star the hotel/resort goes
Pool: Decent size 3-5 feet. Lounge chairs and a few tables. Exercise room has elliptical, treatdmill, free weights and some basketballs(?)
Service: Front desk very nice. Wine/cheese crackers management reception from 5pm to 7pm but I noted once the 1 bottle of white and 1 bottle of red and the nachos were gone(about 6pm), there weren't refilled and I sat in the lobby area(I'm here now, comfy area) for about 40 minutes. Breakfast was the decent for this type of hotel. Boiled eggs, sausage, muffins, fruit(yes!), omelet and the waffle maker, juice and pretty good coffee. Not bad
Check-out: Don't check out til tomorrow but anticipate no problems. Will update if I do.Don't anticipate that I would stay again. If the price was lower I would consider
Enjoyed the free Managers Reception (wine and cheese) and free hot breakfast. Rooms were decent...bed and bedding and TV were current but rest of room was outdated.
