The staff at this location are GREAT! The place is basic, but so is the price. Rooms are clean and staff very helpful. I was travelling with my dog and they are very welcoming. Room was clean although smaller. I will definitely stay again!

Not bad. Definately not the 5-star place one person touted, though. The room smelled strongly of industrial cleaner. Interstate cars zipping past, but I couldn't hear them over the freight train rumbling by and whistling. I was too tired to care and slept soundly through it all. Heat worked well, shower/bath was nice and clean. 10-15 minute drive from UT Medical school and hospital.

I travel from the midwest to the east coast at least six times a year. The halfway point in the trip is the Toledo area and we always stay at the Holland Ohio Red Roof Inn. The location is extremely convenient and easy to find. But, what always impresses me is the fact that the rooms are always spotless. This Red Roof Inn has yet to undergo the planned major renovation that is occuring at all Red Roof Inns. Quite frankly, though, it doesn't need it----the rooms have been that well maintained.

The staff is always very friendly. The check in process is flawless. And for the price of less than fifty dollars for a king size room you definitely can't go wrong. Over the years I have had less than positive experiences at "chain" hotels. However, in all the times I have stayed at this property I have never had anything but positive things to say about it.

I definitely recommend it.

It's a TINY room but the cost without taxes was $36.00. It's okay if you can do without a bottle of shampoo and any kind of a breakfast in the morning (they do provide coffee/tea in small cups). As a special bonus my air conditioner didn't work properly on a very humid night and became an additional wake-up in the early morning. I think next time I'll opt for something a tad more expensive and a get a good night's sleep.
