My husband and I went to Tasmania in October primarily to visit family but decided to choose a couple of places to spend a few days. Not having been there before whatever we chose was going to be a chance. This motel may not be one of your grand 5 star or even the wonderful 4 star that we find through SE Asia but for position I don't think you could find one prettier. Rooms are fairly standard but the staff are lovely and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them And when you say waterfront that's exactly what you get. I used to take my morning coffee, take 5 steps acroos the driveway and sit on the wall and watch the Pelicans and other birdlife.
the towns has everything you could need in it, supermarket, chemist a couple of pubs etc. And such a short drive to the beautiful Table Cape tulip farm. We were lucky enough to time it that they were in flower.
We like thsi place so much we have already booked to go back early next January.

Service is very good. Excellent Breakfast. Would be better if they had meals at night! Rooms were clean and tidy, but were not overly big in size. Quality of beds were excellent, slept rather well. Was able to go for walks safely in surrounding area of the place. Would stay here again, if travelling!

Clean, comfortable and well appointed 1950's style accommodation. Staff are friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was excellent and good value. Wynyard is well situated when exploring NW Tasmania.

The People at the Waterfront Wynyard are just one of the attributes that make this my choice of place to stay, I am a corporate customer I travel to the NW Coast of Tasmania once a month every month and have been doing it for nearly 10 years, approx five years ago I chose to stay at the Waterfront and I have not stayed anywhere since, even changing my travel arrangements if they couldn't fit me in (during peak summer season) - Melissa (receptionist), Justin & Cyndia (Owners) go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and over the years I almost feel like family! You always get that feeling that they are smiling when talking to you over the phone, they obviously enjoy their job. The rooms are always clean, comfortable and are well appointed.

I could not recommend a more pleasant place to stay on the NW Coast, and I will continue to stay there into the future.
