YHA lists parking available, there is only expensive pay and display (or 3 spaces on the street right outside occupied by 3 cars that didn't move during our entire stay).
4 bed room with me and 3 kids was unbearably hot in pretty mild summer weather (~20c in the day) not helped by a security chain on the window that stopped you opening it more than a crack
Kitchen way too small for a 32 bed self catering hostel, no where to store general foodstuff and only 2 standard fridges and 2 standard hobs in a cramped space.
On the plus side it is in a great location, a short (and mostly traffic free) walk to beach, supermarket 2 min walk away.

We normally try and stay in Youth Hostels as not only are they good value & have good accommodation but you get the chance to chat with other members. This hostel turned us off on all accounts. This is quite new building........... but has failed in it's design. The cleaning wasn't up to scratch - the shower/toilet cubical had mould in the joints of the plastic panels. The reception person clearly didn't want to be there. The kitchen was very small, as was the dining/lounge area and the room.
