“Happy with place dont listen to the other reviews!”

Really do not know why people are moaning about this place we found it to really good value. Went as a night away and had a dog which they couldnt do enough for him. The rooms are fine didnt have a problem with them - very clean and as a couple we liked the fact they were away from the main building since of the dog so was very peacful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and when went to the bar didnt feel uncomfortable or like we shouldnt be there since everyone was chatting and once again couldnt do enough for us. Breakfast was lovely and even said whats the dog want so he had a few sausages ! Would happily stay again and recommend it to anyone who wants a break away that doesnt cost the earth.

“Don't stay for the gym and pool”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

When I stay in hotels I try to pick hotels with a gym and a pool to give me something to do of an evening. I picked this place because it said it had a gym and a pool. It does, but it was the smallest pool I've ever seen and the gym was nothing more than a few low quality machines and weights a 4 year old could pick up. Breakfast was also late starting in the morning so had to wait outside for the owner to open up. Felt really ripped off. £58 B&B

“Smelly bedding, rotten windows and no customer service!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 January 2012

If you paid top whack for this place you're out of your tree!
They may provide clean sheets (for a price) but the rest of the bedding smells, the window frames are so rotten so you can't open them and - worst of all - there's mildew in corners and crannies. You're breathing this in while you sleep.
Coupled with an arrogant attitude if you complain, only stay here if you're deranged, desperate or Interpol is after you. (There's plenty of Inns up and down the main road here)>

Room Tip: Don't stay here.

“Advocado Bathroom”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

A recent stay found clean bed linen and towels let down by tired and dismal furnishings. The lodges could do with a good clean. Given the price it was in no way comparable to hotels in the proce range for example Premier Inns.

Room Tip: Book a room that has been refurbished and you should be OK

“If it wasn't for the cheap room it'd be a 1*”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 October 2011

for the price i have to admit it wasnt bad £20 bed & breaky per person, though ive never seen a b&b like it. the lodges reminded me of old peoples home you used to get dragged to by ya parents to see ya sick nan, smelt abit, very quiet we must of been the only teens/20's there, breakfast bit disappointing alot of things "missing', pub/bar if you'd even call it that DEAD, very old looking needs re modernising, pool "out of order" very tired looking tennis court & bowling alley, taxi service the b&b provided was 1 of the most rudest companies i have ever begrudgingly gave money to. if it wasnt for the cheap stay i would give this a 1*
