“Warm welcome, great food, fab location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 November 2011

Lovely place with very clean and comfortable accommodation and generous portions of home cooked food. Carole and John were very welcoming and it was lovely to have a log fire in the cosy sitting room in the evening. Location is fantastic, beautiful riverside setting with Dulverton about a mile away and a riverside path through the beechwoods if you prefer to walk it rather than drive.

“Excellent accomodation in a great location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2011

We have made many visits to Marsh Bridge Cottage which is set in a lovely location next to the river Barle. Welcoming log fires in the winter and superb evening meals along with a delicious cooked breakfast make for a wonderfull stay. The setting is very peacefull and relaxing with plenty of opportunity for walking and visiting many interesting places, and always a warm welcome from Carole and Jon.
Looking forward to our next visit, Pauline & Bob

“An excellent B & B in an ideal location for exploring Exmoor”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 July 2011

Set in a glorious peaceful location right beside the River Barle this B & B provides a wonderfrul base for exploring Exmoor. (or in my case visitng the Exmoor Pony Centre). Within a pleasant walking distance of Dulverton with its' pubs, restaurants and small shops it offers the best of both worlds. The Breakfast was excellent! It was preceded by a wonderful walk along by the river each morning which made it even more appreciated...The rooms are clean, comfortable, attractive and ensuite. . and the owners are friendly and helpful so I look forward to staying there again on my next visit.

“Great B + B in a fabulous setting.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 June 2011

This is our 2nd visit and certainly wont be our last. The B+B is situated next to the river Barle in a peaceful picturesque setting - what could be better!! The accommodation is beautifully clean, homely and welcoming. The food is excellent , and having the option of an evening meal is great. Carole and Jon are lovely hosts who help to make your stay very pleasant. If you like walking there couldn't be a better place to stay - there are lots of beautiful walks straight from the front door.
