we were so impressed with the gorgeous decor and ambiance, we quizzed Ann the next morning to see how she does it! beautiful Danish design details in every room, full size bath sheet, super premium biscuits and hot mugs of tea delivered to our door on arrival. comfortable beds, warm welcome, can't fault this place!

fabulous room,fabulous breakfast,and fabulous hosts Ann and Jan. Got tea & biscuits delivered to our room after a hard days walking around the surrounding countryside...what more could you ask for.

Our weekend in Berwick was made all the better by staying in this lovely B&B. We were made very welcome and enjoyed the comfort of lovely beds and good breakfasts. Ann goes the extra mile in ensuring you have everything you need and advises on where to go/what to do. We were taking part in a charity walk and had to get up very early one morning. Breakfast was waiting which was much appreciated. I would definitely stay here again.

We found this lovely B&B by chance whilst travelling around in Northumberland. From the moment we first walked in and asked whether there were any vacancies, Ann made us feel completely at home. I have problems with my back, and Ann was more than happy for me to go and prod her mattresses before deciding to book a room. And I can confirm that the bed was extremely comfortable (we stayed in the Barrack room)

There are so many lovely touches that I'm sure I will forget some of them - the plentiful supply of chocolates in the rooms, ample wardrobe space and bathroom storage space, large bath and separate shower, tasty biscuits and snacks in the dining/coffee area and of course the warm welcome every time we arrived back from a day out, when Ann would bring a tray of tea and biscuits to our room. Breakfast was good, too, with a selection of hot food cooked to order (Jan even gave us a lesson in making one of her perfect omelettes) and fresh fruit, pastries, yoghurt etc.

Unfortunately we don't get the chance to visit Berwick as often as we would like to, but we will definitely return to the Parade School Guest House when we do.
