We stayed here for two nights recently as a group and really cant fault the place. The rooms were clean and well equipped with the usual facilities. it wasnt en suite but that wasnt a problem for us and the toilets and showers were clean and had complimentary shower gel. the room was small and basic but fine for our needs..
the owner, robin, cooks a fabulous breakfast and caters for every dietary need .i was a vegetarian and hadnt told him until breakfast. this wasnt an issue and he cooked mine separately and made sure the next morning i had some vegetarian sausage..which i thought was a nice touch.
he was always helpful and available
theres a free pool table which was well used..
overall if your looking for a good value base. pick miranda's .. really enjoyed our stay..
oh.. the 3 barrels IS the best pub in berwick..

me and my partner stayed for two nights and loved the facalities. really clean and tidy. everything you need supplied. i must say its one of the best b&b we have stayed in. great help and adviced us on the best places to go. breakfast was excellent and catered for all diets. we will be staying again for certain and i must say the room we had downstairs was well layed out

I stopped off at this guest house on the way home from touring Scotland with my friend. The hosts were very very friendly, pleasant & helpful. The guest house was very organised in everything they catered for from the tasty breakfast through to advising on where to go in Berwick and had Free Wifi. Well worth a stay if you are up that way, I will if up there again.

Miranda's Guest House is basic but comfortable and scrupulously clean. Instead of the ubiquitous boring biscuits in the room, there was a small dish of sweets - a lovely touch. Miranda's is ideally situated in the centre of Berwick, less than five minutes walk from the town hall. Robin, the owner, is friendly and helpful but unobtrusive. Nothing, it would seem, is too much trouble. This guest house may be low on cost but it is high on friendly, personal service.
