What a fabulous place to stay. From the start we were very impressed with the warm welcome tea & home made cake. Lovely spacious room. Emma is an amazing cook and we stayed for 3 nights dinner, bed & breakfast and well and truly enjoyed every meal. We were totally overjoyed when on one of the evenings she cooked us a very special Thai meal which was totally delicious. A real treasure and one that you couldn't beat. A truly lovely place to stay.

Friendly and very welcoming wonderful hotel with excellent accommodation. The location was very peaceful with lovely views across the countryside. The room was spacious and very comfortable. with first class hospitality nothing was too much trouble for Emma. We will certainly stay again.

We stayed just for one night in this delightful place and wished we could have stayed longer. We were greeted by Emma, the most friendly and gracious of hosts, with a most welcome pot of tea and a slice of home made cake. She then showed us to our very spacious and well equipped room, complete with four-poster bed. The bathroom was modern and spotless and the breakfast was sumptouous - everything you could possibly desire - all freshly cooked and served with a smile. We have stayed in 5 star hotels that could not match this breakfast.
All in all outstanding value for money with free WiFi and many extras thrown in.

This is the jewel in the North Yorkshire crown!! From the moment we were greeted by Emma, to the moment we left, the service was nothing short of excellent. Having shown us to our (fabulous) room, we were given tea and home-made cake to welcome us. Emma was so helpful, giving us advice about all the local places to eat as well as great places to visit!
The room was spotless, and very comfortable with many extra little touches to make you feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble for Emma if it helped make our stay even more enjoyable.
We were lucky enough to have an evening meal( arranged by prior agreement) prepared for us and Emma delivered a meal that many 5* restaurants would have been proud to serve, and the dessert was to die for!
The hotel is situated off the main road to Catterick, along a single track road, and is set in fields, with horses and sheep as neighbours. The silence at night is both surprising and restful aiding what I can only describe as the best nights sleep we had in a while!
We can only say that you must stay here and share the wonderful experience we have had. This is the place we have been looking for - part of us wants to keep it a secret it is that good! But we need you all to share something that is this good.
We know you will enjoy the stay, and like us want to return ASAP!
