We hired this out for a weekend reunion with uni friends and it was so perfect!! Beautifuk surroundings and the cottage was stunning. The rooms were huge with massive comfy beds, the kitchen was huge with everything you could possibly want and a lovely living room with gorgeous sofas and a fire! The hot tub was soooooooooooo cool, it was really warm and fun and fitted us five girls in their easily!! I couldnt fault this place at all and i would recommend to anyone!

Our first visit, and it will not be the last I hope. The cottage is so spacious, warm, light and airy. Hot tub is so large and it's nice to sit in there with a nice bottle of wine. Shame it was so cloudy, we couldn't see the stars.
Bed was so comfy, and the kitchen has all you need, including washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave etc etc.

My daughter and I stayed here for a really lazy and relaxing weekend. Sue, the hostess is very warm and welcoming. The cottage is a great mix of old beams and modern conveniences. Soft bathrobes and large bath towels add a touch of luxury. The hot tub is an added bonus, lovely to sip wine whilst watching the stars! Set on a working farm it's nice to look out of the kitchen window and see the horses grazing. Easily accessible and Sue sends really clear directions. Would definitely recommend and hope to return before too long.

I've stayed in this fabulous cottage twice now and both times have been a fantastic experience. The location is easy to find with local amenities within about 2 miles. Melton Mowbray's a lovely town, and the Pie & Sausage shop is worth a visit!

The setting is secluded and peaceful so you can enjoy the outside areas in privacy. The outdoor hot tub has to be one of the most impressive features and has certainly been the selling point that sets this beautiful holiday home apart.

The rooms are light and spacious, which was a pleasant surprise with the "cottage" style in mind. The quality and style of furnishing is in keeping with the location and really comfortable. The kitchen is fitted with all you could need and has a stock of the condiments and staples too. The bathroom is well appointed with a walk in slate shower area.

There’s Freeview and a flat screen in the bedroom as well as Flat screen / Sky and DVD player in the living room. There is also free Wi-Fi here which is a great addition since my first stay.

Sue, the owner, is really helpful and friendly... remembered me when I booked a second time which was a nice feeling. Much more a family feel than a corporate chain!

I'd really recommend this hidden gem to anyone wanting to get away from it all, if you want to relax and unwind this is an ideal spot.
