A group of us stayed here in Feb, as we were going to a wedding nearby the following day. The rooms were basic but clean and spacious and had everything you needed. The bar/restaurant was being renovated so we had to go to a local pub in the evening, which was only a short walk away.
We had all pre- booked breakfast with our rooms. When we got there we realised that as the girls had to leave early the next day (we were all bridemaids) we wouldn't have time to eat breakfast before we left. We explained this to reception and asked if we could cancel our breakfasts. The lady on reception said this wouldn't be a problem, but as it the hotel wasn't busy she could tell the cook to start making breakfast for us early if we wanted. However when we went to get breakfast the next morning, the cook had not been told anything and nothing was ready. She put some toast on for us while we grabbed a bowl of cereal, but we didn't have time to wait for her to cook anything. So we each paid about £8 for a bowl of cereal and piece of toast.
