I just got back from staying at the Premier Inn Chorley North over a Friday and Saturday. I booked it a while ago and got the special rate of £29 per night.

The hotel is close to the M61 and close to Chorley as well. It is about 45 minutes from the Yorkshire Dales, 45 minutes from the Penines and about an hour from the Lake District.

The hotel has ample parking, 24 hour reception and good sized rooms. The Malthouse restaurant is next door although we decided not to eat there.

Wireless Internet is £3 for 24 hours which is a lot cheaper than most UK hotels. It's a shame it's normal paying for it here in the UK.

The staff were excellent and very friendly. The room was comfortable and clean.

At £29 per night I can't fault it at all. I'm planning to go back to Chorley again and I will very likely stay here again.

“Well worth the stay and the price”

Stayed overnight on our way up to Bute at the end of December. Super staff. Always feel safe with the 24/7 reception. Clean, spacious room with all the amenities and a lovely view of the canal and countryside. Handy restaurant with good food right next door. Lots of parking and good access to several motor routes so a good location for a stop during a long trip.

“A great spot to overnight before your flight from Manchester airport.”

A friendy welcome on our overnight before our flight. Good car park nice and safe not like some of the hotels in Manchester.

“First class premier”

Stayed a this Premier Inn twice for New Year. It's ideal as it's right next door the the Malthouse Farm for our New Year Bash. Handy for the motorway too, all the usual Premier Inn features. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Malthouse Farm pub is excellent food is first class, right by the canal, greta location!!

Room Tip: Stable block is best if you can get it
