This hotelin no way resembles what is shown on their web site, the photo's must have been taken several years ago.
Just from the outside you wander if you had the right place.
There is no restaurant, there is no bar but you can get breakfast.
You should avoid this so called hotel. \there are only 2 staff members.

We arrived & the place resembled a building site. On checking in on the 6th Feb 2010 we
were informed that the room had been booked for the 6th of Jan 2010 and that i had booked it before Christmas. When i checked my records, i had in fact booked the room on the 9th of Jan 2010!
Fortunately we were able to stay at the nearby Rosehill Hotel, which was a far superior place.The rooms & staff were fantastic, and the rooms were the same price. The excellent breakfast was also included in the room rate,and not as an extra. I know where we will be staying next time.

Came up for the football. Was perfect. A 5 minutes walk to the ground, and was really easy to get to town as well to catch my train home the day after.
Staff were friendly, nice and easy check-in and my stay was comfortable.
The price included a great, full English breakfast. Certainly got my day of to a great start!
All in all, a good stay. Would recommend!

Stayed at The Alexander when visiting Burnley for the Championship play-off in May09. All was absolutely perfect! Went with my 14 year old son and couldn't fault it. Its a 5 minute walk from Turf Moor. Has its own car-park. Resturant food was well presented and great value, too! Staff were friendly and we were very comfortable in a big twin-bed room. As Burnley are now Premier League (well done to them) more away fans will be visiting and I would seriously recommend staying at The Alexander! Cheers

We have stayed at the Alexander Hotel before and been very impressed by the high standard of the accommodation and helpful and friendly staff. Our most recent stay was the night of 25th May (bank holiday Monday) following our trip to Wembley to see Burnley win promotion. Our return coach was delayed and we had to phone the Alexander to say we'd be arriving much later than expected (actually after 1am.) The staff member on duty at reception was exceptionally helpful, staying on well beyond her shift to greet us, and making us feel very welcome in spite of the late hour - much appreciated at the end of a great, but very long day. We've booked again.
