We stay here occasionally when visiting my daughter nearby. If you book at the right time and get a room for £29 it's difficult to see how you could get better value for money. Sure, the room is "no frills" but it is plenty big enough, clean, comfortable, and quiet (at the back - never had a room at the front). The bathroom is clean with plenty of hot water and a bath with a good shower.
The staff are always friendy and helpful.
We usually have breakfast which, in this hotel, is cooked and served in their own restaurant. At a similar price to a motorway breakfast you get a huge choice, pretty much all-you-can-eat, all the tea / coffee you can drink, with the added benefit of cerials and some fresh fruit. Excellent value.
We will certainly be staying here again.
