Typical large chain hotel without much character located by a busy road but handy for the Galleria Centre (which includes a number of chain restraunts).

What's not so good...
- No air con in rooms
- Only wired internet in rooms (£5 / hour)... wi-fi only available in bar (although free)
- Hotel is a real maze (and hard to navigate) and lacks character
- By very busy road / roundabout

What's good...
- Decent sized clean rooms
- Plenty of parking (although must ensure you record your registration number at reception as automatic parking fines in operaion)

Great for one night business stays, however wouldn't stay for longer periods

I was in Hatfield on 13th october 2011. I booked my stay with Ramada, Hatfield. I had a wonderful and comfortable stay in this hotel. I would like to say special thanks to Baldeep reception attendant. He was humble, polite and helpful person.

In the end my overall stay with Ramada was very pleasant and if I come back to Hatfield I will definitely book with Ramada again.

I felt I had to write a review regarding parking charges at this hotel. Although the hotel itself was very pleasant and the staff very friendly, I am outraged about the parking charges. I visited this hotel on 13th October to meet a work colleague for drinks in the bar. I observed on entry to the car park that parking fees were applicable. I understand why there are charges for parking as there is a shopping area opposite and I suppose it is to deter shoppers parking in the hotel car park. However, I paid £5 which I thought would cover my 2 and half hour stay. You can imagine my disgust at receiving a penalty charge notice this week and a fine of £60. This is totally unjustified and totally excessive!!!
