Stayed one night at The White Hart Inn.
We had a nice room above the pub and it cost £75 B&B
The village Stockbridge is very easy to find as it is close to the motorway.
We ate in the pub, there was a decent menu with a few specials. The food was tasty and not expensive. They also have a large selection of beer and wine which is something that Irish pubs could learn from.
The bed was very comfy and the provision of bottled water, coffee pot and chocolates were a lovely addition.
Bathroom was a good size with a powefrul shower.
Breakfast was freshly cooked and once again the food was good quality. However my only complaint was breakfast related. Breakfast finishes at 9:30 which is very early to be up when you are on holidays. I feel that 10:30 would be a suitable time to finish breakfast.
By the way if you do not like graveyards be aware our room looked out onto a graveyard!!
