“A bad stay at this hotel with a 60 pound parking ticket to boot!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2011

I have stayed at this hotel before and have had none of the problems I had with this stay.

I was given a room that was not cleaned and changed by housekeeping, I booked a inhouse continental breakfast which did not arrive, I tried telephoning reception for 20 minutes solid with no reply, if this was an infirm or disabled person it could have been quit dangerous.
Lastly for my trouble I recieved a 60 pound parking ticket in this mornings post from the management company that runs the car park, its automatic, they photographic your car on entry to the service area and photographic it on the way out, they do not make any effort to see if you stay at the hotel or not, I am challenging the ticket of course, be warned!.

Room Tip: check it yourself for cleaniness

“comfortable & clean”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 July 2011

As has been said before this needs a re-fit,it is looking a bit tired and dated.
But the reception staff are great, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean.
The only minor negative was there were 2 chunks of enamel missing in the bath, the ceiling had a load of black mould on it and the grouting was a bit stained.
The shower was great!
for what we paid we cannot really complain and we got a continental breakfast in the morning.Would we I stay here again-yes!

“Cousy location and fine room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 June 2011

Responsive reseptionist - help us with euro-uk adapter, help with parking registration. Good location, if you go by m3. Shops nearby has no alcohol, but tasty pasteria. Value for money. Plus outside pretty yard where we did sit for minute in spit of rain.
Enough space in room and bathroom with tube if you like it. Clean and quiet room. fast and free inet.
Minus - If you miss turn - you're in trouble - miles and miles of round trip. But that's, frankly, not hotel's fault.

“legoland short break”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 April 2011

couldnt find a hotel reasonable enough which included the legoland tickets so decided to stay at this hotel and buy annual passes, which turned out to be cheaper than the package deals. Hotel is little dated and the sofa beds are a little lumpy, but we spent all day at Legoland and the kids would have slept anywhere they were so tired, bathroom great, bed a little soft but great, for the price we paid I am very happy, the fact there is a Waitrose just over the path is great as we grabbed sandwiches for the day from there saving a fortune., about a twenty minute drive from legoland, but when you come out of the park you turn right, avoiding all the traffic going through windsor.. Nice little pub on the way back to the hotel called the Loch Fyne, which does a cracking early bird meal for about £10.00 for a two course meal, but you do have to ask for the early menu as they try to give you the more expensive one, the early bird finishes at 7pm.
Great hotel, loads of parking, no complaints.
