13 Cyclists (with bikes) turned up with 4 more in two support cars on Wednesday 14th September taking part in a London to Paris ride. Ideally placed for Ferry. Warm, welcoming, clean and very accommodating. Rooms were spotless with excellent attention to detail. The proprietor worked tirelessly dealing with 17 mouths to feed at breakfast plus two other guests. Would highly recommend.

“Exceptional Value”
Warm welcome, clean en suite room with personal touches you wouldn't find in a more expensive hotel. Lovely breakfast in morning including for a very keen price. Faultless

“A home from home experience”
My Sister and I stayed here for one night 16/9/2011 and we were treated very well, the room had everything we needed and more, attention to detail was impectable as was the breakfast in which we were spoilt for choice, this B&B surely deserves it 3 star rating.

“Newhaven Lodge - good for cyclists!”
We stayed (4 gents) in two twin rooms in early September this year. We had cycled from London, en route to Paris, and were picking up the 9.30am ferry from Newhaven the following morning.
The Newhaven Lodge was perfect for our stop off, they catered for our bikes, and provided good facilities and a smashing breakfast to set us on our way!
Great place for an overnight kip before catching the ferry to Dieppe

“Friendly b&b - very good value for money”
We stayed with friends and found rooms very clean with plenty of nice little extra touches to make it feel comfortable. We all enjoyed the lovely breakfast cooked by Jan!! Would definately recommend it if staying in the area.
