My partner and I recently stayed at Providence Place for three nights.

Having checked out the general area before checking in, we were pleasantly surprised at the location. Close to both beach and shops, a very short walk. At the same time, not a busy, noisy area at all... brilliant!!

We were greeted at the door by Chris who was very welcoming. He showed us our room on the ground floor. A very clean, bright room, which looked newly and tastefully decorated. He brought us a pot of tea which was a lovely, homely touch.

The room we stayed in, the Felbrigg, had a small, ensuite bathroom which was more than sufficient for our needs. Again, very clean, new and nicely decorated. The shower was a power shower. Little shower gels, soaps etc were provided.

There was a lovely range of teas, coffee, hot chocolate etc for making your own hot drinks in the room. Lots of biscuits, etc. Also a little fridge already stocked with two bottles of mineral water!

The window could be opened/closed as we required, and equally, the radiator could be adjusted to our needs, which was perfect for us, not liking a room too warm.

The bed was very comfortable and made for a good nights sleep.

We spoke to Chris about breakfast, and he was very accommodating, understanding our not wanting to be up too early while on hols! He jiggled breakfast times slightly to suit us, which was very kind and flexible.

When breakfast time came, what a fast and efficient service! Chris is a whirling dervish! A vast range of cereals, preserves (Morello Cherry!!), etc. and toast and cooked breakfast, sausage, bacon, eggs, etc. Lots of juice refills, and good tea! We really did have lots to eat.

We finally met Wendy and she was just as lovely as Chris. They clearly love their work and are very good at it. Brilliant hosts. I have to say, I felt very 'at home'.

Chris and Wendy were full of suggestions for places to go, and were never far away if we needed them.

I'm sure I have forgotten a few things, but this will do for now.

I highly recommend Providence Place, and if we stay in Sheringham again, this is where we'll book. I really can find no fault!!!

We stayed at Providence Plance over the August Bank Holiday weekend after reviewing trip advisor reports. They were spot on! This B&B was lovely, very clean, nice room (The Bradgate) in a very good location. The customer service was excellent delivered by Chris and Wendy, plenty of tourist information and nice little touches, such as dvd's/games/books we could borrow as well as tea on arrival etc. The breakfast was delicious and personal needs are catered for. We would stay here again if we visit Sheringham again.

An excellent B & B. Chris and Wendy very friendly. Little extras such as tea, coffee made for us on arrival, complimentary water in water cooler in room, make this stand out from other B & B's stayed in. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and served fresh. Location was great just a few minutes walk to restuarants. Would recommend to couples of all ages.

Wonderful accomadation very clean and comfortable . Owners very friendly, thoughtful and helpful , food excellent and fresh . Room very quiet and peaceful .
