“the rudest bar staff i have ever met”

we booked this hotel on a all incusive bases on a 4 star rating [this was not a cheap last minute deal] the hotel is very dated and in my veiw should be leveled. every bit of noise echos down the corredors and is not a comfortable place to stay.the pool is that old in my veiw is unsafe with the water level being an good foot below the pool edge and no hand rails around the pool edge, the depth drops off alarmingly quickly to just under 12 foot it is not safe for children or none swimmers .do not expect a room with a view or curtious staff. never to return not even for free.

Room Tip: do not book it

This hotel had bad reviews but is was better than that.

For 100 years plus the Germans and the Brits have fought to be the most arrogant and rudest tourists but in the course of just a couple of short years the Russians have roared into the lead.

This hotel is full of Russians and they have to be the tourists from hell. The young ones just drink to extreme and come back at all hours singing and banging doors and furniture. One group had 20 complaints in one night and were actually moved. The older ones just just ignore all and treat thye staff as slaves.

The fact that the hotel had tiled floors made even flipflops sound loud.

Given all this the food was varied and plentiful, and the staff were helpful and polite. The rooms were "done" every day and were clean if a little jaded.

We often take our grandkids on holiday and as the bar snacks were non existant, especially with ice cream this would be a problem.

To sum up this was good value for money and we would go again.

Room Tip: Ask for a "quiet room" as the pool noise can go on.

“disappointed, not 4*, low quality food, poor service, dirty rooms.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2011

Same situation as samjtoms below...

We just came back after 2 weeks stay in this hotel and my advise is - please avoid if you can! No way this hotel is 4 star. Food was boring, lacked variety and very low quality - the cheapest stuff you can find in the Lidl supermarket. Only fresh fruit you could get were bananas and apples. Service was very inconsistent and most of their restaurant staff had very little idea about customer service. I remember an old lady who informed a barman at the pool bar that there is no toilet paper in the ladies. His response was "go to reception desk and ask for a roll" - some 80 yards away... Drinks at the bar terrible - sweet as hell thou generous in % (all inclusive). After 5 days we started going out for a dinner and drinks as we couldn't handle it anymore. Now, as for the rooms... When we arrived at night we (a couple) were given a studio room with a kitchen, 3 single beds, no hot water, no aircon, a faulty toilet and about 5 minutes walk from the hotel we paid for - Aris Studios... We then came back at the reception desk to complain - the chap at reception (was having a [--] by the way), said he cannot do anything about it at the moment, cannot give us different room as the hotel is fully booked. Told us to come back next day to get a different room. Next day we were given a better room in the annex building - small shower room - I could barely move there, rotten doors, water leaking from the basin on to the floor. No gym, no table tennis, no tennis court, too laidback staff - generally nice but couldn't give a damn about anything. Definately a NO from us!

arrived at half 5 in morning and reception had saved us a very small meal, but that was nice of them. than we went to get our key to our room, ... we were told that for 1 night only we would be sstaying in a nice room with sea view . .ok we said adn then we were taken out the back door down the road to studio apartments, the air con didnt work and there were bugs in the drawers. . we were so tired we fell asleep anyway. woke up wondering what to do for breakfast as we had booked all inc, found the hotel we should be in and had missed breakfast, our room was still not ready and would not be till midday we were told, it was not ready till 1. we did arrive same time as another couple and the same thing happened to them. we complained to the rep, told her that it was now 2oclock the next day and we still haddent unpacked our clothes. .... saw the rep the following day to find out what was gonna happen she did say about some money back , but we decided that on our last day we were supposed to get out of the room at twelve we would keep it till 6pm courtesy of the hotel as we missed the first the hotel did except this but didnt like it. .... food is boring and bland. the choice is poor. pool is deep with no rails and you cannot hang on the sides as water level low. maid was lovely. from talking to different people there the hotel seems to have different standards of rooms, ours was good and clean and large but others apparently were dirty and flies. and some very small so if your not happy ask for another . waiters in restuarant are rude. the position of the hotel is good and we had no problems from noise apart from the usual doors banging etc. ...sorry if this is a long one but dont want anyone getting done over with the rooms. weather brill.......boat trips good. .....quad bikes good. not many sun beds.. hope this is helpful.

We stayed here for a week in August as a family and obviously after the reviews here, we were very sceptical. However we had a great week, the food was good with lots of choice, very clean and Air Conditioning was FREE!
The alcohol was ok, what you would expect from an All Inclusive deal. There were people of all ages at the hotel so reviews that the hotel was for a young people only is ridiculous. Entertainment was minimal but the strip was less than a minute walk away where there were bars on the sea for a good mile.

Don't hesitate to stay here, this place is great!
