stayed at the serita at the start of october.The rooms were of a good standard and the hotel was kept very clean throughout.All the staff were very polite and always helpful.The beer and wine were of an average standard but okish for a holiday.The main restaurant was serving the usual A.I.food but we felt there could have been more choice of meats on the evening meals.The pizza restaurant by the pool was exceptional,serving beautiful pizzas,chips and fruit.The staff who serve here deserve a special mention as they made everyone welcome and made your visit a very happy one.Overall a good 2 weeks holiday was had by my wife and i.The only negative(although this didnt concern me personally)was when we had a couple of days of rain no attempt was made by the entertainment team to put on anything at all to keep everyone entertained,which afterall thats what they are paid to do.On this note i would also suggest a new entertainment team is brought in as the people doing it now cant

Arrived back from Crete on Friday night

Our holiday was booked late as an after thought, daughter of school on holiday not been away for two years, needed a break.

Having travelled extensively through Europe over the years had never been to Greece or any of its islands. So did not know what to expect, and was very pleasantly suprised.

The Hotel was great, clean, well appointed, with very freindly helpful staff.

The food was good, be it, breakfast, lunch or dinner, well I am on a diet now we are back home. If you wanted to criticise, the food presented was a little sameish over the week, but there were choices so I can't complain. I have had a great deal worse and paid a lot more money, over the years.

Room was superb, excellent bathroom, you know one of those big deep baths that you can relax in, with a good shower and plenty of hot water. Very clean. Maid in every day to clean bathroom and the room, leaving clean towels and the toiletries.

All inclusive, very good pool side bar and a bar inside that also not to far from the pool side, full range of local drinks and as much water as one can drink.

If you really want to be picky I suppose that some of the pool side equiptment is showing wear but it is the end of the season, but I did also see some new gear so it is obviously renewed on an on going basis.

We were one of the last set of visitors to leave the hotel before it closes for the winter, in fact it closed on Thurday night, after we left, till the first week in April.

One regret that perhaps we should have gone there earlier in the year for more sunshine.
But we got our rest and enjoyed our stay.

We would certainly use the hotel again, we thought it was excelent value for money.

I would also like to thank the staff for their freindly, outgoing, nothing to much trouble , helpful attitude, they were great.

Please note not a 5 or a 4 star-no pocket tissues any where, lots of flies around. TV in our room was so tiny. Air con in adjoining room was not working even tho we asked for it to be fixed. Sofas need replacing as worn out. Walls are thin so was noisy Food in main eating area remained the same on a daily basis so we had to eat out for most of the time we were there.. Trips were expensive if booking throught hotel so we hired a car and saved a fortune. However Staff went out of their way to help eg they made us reservation to eat in the Chinese restaurant at Mitsis Rinela but they were useless at Rinela and booked us in for the wrong date so we had to drive all the way back to our hotel to eat. Entertainment was poor so we hung out at at the Laguna where the guests there were friendly and therefore we spent more time there using the pool table etc. Used the Misis in Corfu and was excellent but would not use this hotel again. Would go to the Laguna however as it's more me....

we went to this hotel in october 2011 as a family of seven we found the hotel was very clean and helpful and the maid cleaned our rooms every day the standard of the food was very disapointing we found there is lots of choice but the quality was of a poor standard entertainment only consisted of an hour of kids songs after that it was very poor had karaoke one night and a greek dancing night that was it the bar staff were fab and worked hard to keep peoples drinks filled the pool area is very slippy and the main entrance as i found to my cost with a trip to the clinic for x ray for suspected broken ribs please please be careful and i was not the only person who slipped over the pizza resturant they have is a good night the staff are great and the food although limited was better cooked and more tasty the flies and cats are constant companions if you like to make friends ha ha i know this review is quite negative and i use trip advisor to review holidays before i go but you find things out for yourself when you arrive would i go back no but would try the other mitsis hotels on the other greek islands as a comparison after speaking to other holidaymakers the one on corfu souds better and rhodes
