We came upon this little jem late, We were tired and hungry after getting lost and going miles in the wrong direction. We found the place very reasonable and it had a fridge!
Next door was a great restaurant where we had one of the best steaks ever. Again at a reasonable rate.
Not the flashest place in town but we would happily stay here again. Great value for money

We've stayed at the Deer Creek Motel a few times. Always find it clean & inexpensive. Lots of restaurants nearby to choose from. If you want something fancy, look elsewhere, but this motel has all the necessities as well as an indoor pool. We stay there partly because our dog is welcome (for an additional $10 per night) and there is a nice grassy area to walk her. My husband has stayed there while on hunting trips as well. We keep going back and have never had a problem with anything. It's right off the Interstate and RR tracks run beside it, but the rooms are very quiet.

The rooms were not good but not terrible for a night. The toilet needed flushed twice after each use. The breakfast is absolutely unacceptable!! Not sanitary by anyones standards. All the bread was moldy, bite size donuts were smashed in a tupperware bowl and the worse coffee Ive ever tasted. Plan on eating out for breakfast. The only positive I can say about this place is - the pool is open til midnight.

We planned on staying here, based on Tripadvisor reviews and a Roomsaver coupon for about $53. Unfortunately, every room in the motel comes with its own plug-in air freshener. If you want everything you bring into the room to smell of pineapple or passion fruit, this is the place for you.
The air freshener is not merely loud. It screams. Even if you aren’t especially sensitive to this sort of thing, you will notice it. The friendly night clerk opened several rooms
and reported that they all had the plug-ins and that they all had a very strong odor. Even she was a bit surprised at how over the top it was. We could not stay.
The Deer Creek is a large property with rather old and creaky buildings. It is located in a little hollow below the interstate and is therefore definitely not in a quiet location, despite what has been reported here. The room appeared to be adequately furnished and we would have stayed had the air freshener not been so overpowering.
