“Would recommend this Inn to others”

Our children had purchased a gift certificate for us to this Inn. We had heard of the name since it was near our hometown, but didn't know a lot about it. We just booked a 2 night stay just to get away for a few days from the day-to-day work related headaches. Very pleased with our accommodations. The Inn was very well maintained, overlooked a scenic country treed hillside; probably ablaze with color in the autumn. We were there during the week, and it was not crowded at all. Staff was friendly, courteous, and quick with an answer to any questions we had about nearby restaurants, shopping, etc.

“We're back!”

Our first night at Red Maple was within weeks of its opening. We stayed on a wet and rainy Wednesday night in the middle of October. Even with the inclement weather the view was lovely. Breakfast was superb and the morning show was the best. The Amish man bouncing around in his buggy while his newly purchased horse raced up the graveled lane to Century Village. The innkeeper told us the horse was bought at the race track and not yet accustomed to the buggy.
We have stayed at the Inn several more times. The hospitality of the staff is wonderful. They allow you to feel like family. The staff of Amish ladies that care for the rooms are thorough and friendly. The Cook, who is also Amish, knows how to do breakfast. What a meal!
Nestled in the gentle rolling hills right in the midst of Amish country, I can think of no better place to relax, rest and find peace of mind, body and soul. It is indeed a gift from God to find and stay at such a place.
Since we now live in Florida we will again be visiting the Red Maple Inn during the worst of the Florida weather. I am so looking forward to extended visit to the best B&B ever.

“We Keep Coming Back”

My husband and I visit Red Maple Inn whenever we need a break from our hectic schedules. It is an easy one-hour drive from our home. The Inn is located in a beautiful setting that is within 30 minutes of many attractions, including outlet malls, wine tasting, and beautiful Lake Erie. Service and cleanliness are impeccable, and we never miss the 5:00 happy hour with wine and yummy snacks. Breakfasts are filling and fresh. Thank you to the Red Maple Inn staff and owners for providing such a wonderful retreat in lovely Northern Ohio.

“Lovely place at good value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 April 2011

We stayed two nights for a weekend getaway. Staff at checkin and throughout the stay were courteous and friendly. Our room was spacious, comfortable, well-furnished, and had a lovely view. (Sleep quality is downgraded one star because the mattress was just a bit too soft, but that's compared to perfection.) Complimentary breakfast and afternoon wine and hors d'oeuvres choices were excellent (well, except for the too-sweet red wine), varied and plentiful. The village of Burton was a couple of minutes walk away. All in all, a wonderful weekend for us. Definitely recommended!

Hints: if you stay on a Friday night when the Amish dinner is available, go for it: well-prepared, very reasonable cost, and the cook works very hard to accommodate dietary needs. For lunch -- or possibly even a casual dinner -- try Tom and Jerry's diner in Burton.

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the field in back.

“Red Maple Inn Beautiful and Serene”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 October 2010

Stayed at the Red Maple in for Mother's 80th birthday. Burton is a quaint little town on a circle with a historical village. The Red Maple Inn's view of the valley were gorgeous. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent. The inn is in Ohio Amish Country. The room even had a video on the Amish.
