We had a lovely getaway in Berlin, OH last weekend and it was in no small part thanks to this beautiful B&B. We were in the Heritage suite so I cannot comment upon the breakfast, but the room was wonderful. It was beautifully decorated and clean as a whistle. We enjoyed our continental breakfast and the view of the farms in the valley below was amazing. We loved the close proximity to Berlin, too.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Lamp Light Inn Bed and Breakfast. Larry and Helen were fantastic hosts. We were the only guests staying with them at the time, but we still received wonderful service. We thoroughly enjoyed Larry's performance at breakfast, and we wish that all of our breakfasts could be as tasty as the one that Helen made for us. Our stay at the Lamp Light Bed and Breakfast was actually a gift, but we will definitely be returning. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The king sized bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed having private access to our room. The bathroom was large, with a nice sized jacuzzi and a shower as well. There was a large selection of movies at our disposal. There are plenty of local attractions, and the area is simply lovely. Thank you Larry and Helen. We had such a wonderful time in your gorgeous bed and breakfast.

The first view of the Inn while driving up to it showed the beautiful Victorian details and inviting verandas. Just the view of the Amish countryside from the front entrance was so relaxing that we couldn't wait to check in. Since we had preregistered on line, Helen, the hostess was able to check us in quickly and take us to our room.
Our room was called "Timeless Romance" and was tastefully wallpapered with a king size bed, corner fireplace, armoire with flat screen satellite TV with DVD player, and huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub and separate shower.
We settled in for the night with a romantic DVD from the 30-40 DVD collection that were available for guests. We did partake of the free snacks that were available in the common area. The cookies tasted homemade and 7 different teas were available along with various sodas.
The next morning we came out to a fantastically prepared breakfast. The best part was host Larry serenading us with romantic tunes from his grand piano in the dining area. Wow !! Larry and Helen were great hosts and very accommodating. They allowed us to view some of the other rooms and each was beautifully decorated in different themes.
Breakfast the next morning was totally different but just as tasty and filling as the first.
All in all a fantastic 2 evenings.

The Lamplight Inn provides both comfort and elegance in a warm atmosphere provided by the Inn Keepers themselves. From the beautiful rooms and amenities to the delicious breakfasts, it is truly the best. Oh, and did I mention the "Singing Innkeeper" himself, serenading the guests at breakfast? Wonderful!
