The Lamplight Inn is delightful in many ways. I appreciated the convenience of two entrances per room, one to the common space and another to the wrap-around porch and parking. The decor is tastefully country. It's neat as a pin with no wear and tear. The view from one end of the inn is serene and restful, rolling hills, pastures of cows and horses. Despite being quite close to Berlin's main drag the night we were there it was quiet and cool enough to sleep with the windows open. The breakfast food was excellent. Do take the Inn's publicity seriously, the innkeeper does sings quite well and pounds out his favorite tunes during breakfast. The day we were there when he wasn't playing he managed the conversation. So if you like B&Bs except for the part about meeting new people over breakfast this is your place. I understand that if you wish to skip the commraderie and the entertainment there's one package that includes breakfast in your room. If you think you might enjoy conversations with some of the world travelers the inn attracts, I'd suggest hanging out on the porch.

For my 10th anniversary, I took my wife to this wonderful B&B. I selected the Hillside suite for the privacy. We got exactly what we were looking for, quiet and privacy. The room was clean and had all the amenities we were looking for. The continental breakfast (specific to that room) was delicious and healthy. They had high speed internet access, which was a plus.

My only complaint which was no fault of the innkeepers was that the person in the room above me decided to take a 30 minute shower at 11:30pm. It specifically states no running water from 10pm - 7am. Some people just love to skirt the rules or just aren't smart to follow them.

Other than my issue which again, wasn't the fault of the innkeepers, the place was wonderful and I'm sure this issue isn't something that happens all the time. So if you go there, please be considerate.

We had a lovely getaway in Berlin, OH last weekend and it was in no small part thanks to this beautiful B&B. We were in the Heritage suite so I cannot comment upon the breakfast, but the room was wonderful. It was beautifully decorated and clean as a whistle. We enjoyed our continental breakfast and the view of the farms in the valley below was amazing. We loved the close proximity to Berlin, too.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Lamp Light Inn Bed and Breakfast. Larry and Helen were fantastic hosts. We were the only guests staying with them at the time, but we still received wonderful service. We thoroughly enjoyed Larry's performance at breakfast, and we wish that all of our breakfasts could be as tasty as the one that Helen made for us. Our stay at the Lamp Light Bed and Breakfast was actually a gift, but we will definitely be returning. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The king sized bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed having private access to our room. The bathroom was large, with a nice sized jacuzzi and a shower as well. There was a large selection of movies at our disposal. There are plenty of local attractions, and the area is simply lovely. Thank you Larry and Helen. We had such a wonderful time in your gorgeous bed and breakfast.
