We stayed here for our 5 year anniversary. We were greeted by a very friendly and helpful man, who told us all about the region. We had a slight mix up with the room and the spa bath however it was sorted very professionally. Room was nice and very clean. The newly refurbished rooms looked very modern. Overall a great stay and would recommend to anyone visiting the region.

I stayed here recently for a couple of nights while exploring the McLaren Vale area. My room was huge, spotlessly clean and well appointed. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The motel is very central and within walking distance to several good restaurants while being on a side street in a very quiet area. I can't think of a bad thing to say about it!

We spent four nights here and given the rates we paid, we were initially disappointed with our room and location (very near the pool). After four nights of very restful sleep and a good stay in a great area, we changed our tune somewhat and we would certainly stay again. The pool area is fantastic - especially for kids; there are lovely gardens for an evening glass of local wine with some cheese or gourmet items bought from just down the road. McLaren Vale itself is wonderful - stones throw from excellent beaches (Maslins, Port Willunga) & walking distance to terrific coffee (important for Melburnians! Our pick was the Blessed Cheese cafe), great restaurants, some nice shopping and, of course, excellent wineries. We stayed in a queen room and my parents 'an executive apartment' (which really was a large motel room with a spa, cooker and washing machine - handy after beach trips). I still feel mixed about the prices paid BUT the staff were friendly & helpful and the location is excellent.

We were in McLaren Vale for a wedding and chose this as a base to stay. The location is near the Visitors Centre and an easy walk to some restaurants on Main Road for dinner, if you are drinking with your meal.

The motel itself is adequate, it is not boutique nor 5 star but simple, clean and comfortable. It would be a good choice for families looking for this sort of lodging. Staff are friendly and helpful with maps, recommendations and also have discount vouchers for some restaurants so do drop into reception before going out for dinner. The guy at the front desk was really nice and super helpful. Plenty of off street parking right outside your room.

One advantage of this place that we liked was having basic kitchen facilities.
