I went there with my spouse and her aged parents for lunch. I had looked at the internet menu to see if there was vegetarian and there was a couple of dishes - one basically a salad and the other a pasta meal. On ordering they said the pasta was not available, so I was left with a salad. There was a mediocre salad bar and poor quality bread that went with the maincourse. My parents in law had a fish maincourse which was good though. They are both aged and use walking frames, so we used a disabled parking spot near the ramp (disabled area) to get into the restaurant/bistro. They were preparing a wedding reception at this area . On leaving after the meal, we went to leave via this same area and they cannot walk far and had to use the ramp and get close to the car and the staff twice (with my wife and her mother), and with me and my Father in law, tried to say we couldn't now go through this same area to get to the disabled ramp and through their preparation area (even though the event hadn't started and they were still preparing). It meant a walk though a short area of theirs of 5 meters and we in no disturbed their area, but were able to get to the disabled ramp and hence the car. The staff wanted my wife to walk the long way out to the front of the Hotel , and to the car that way ; or for us to move the car and try to find another park and get the disabled parents there that way. Very insensitive, officious, overbearing handling of a situation that just need a midgen of understanding on their part.
