“My son's fantastic wedding venue!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

Cannot rave enough about the setting and the service. I've not been to this area before. The weather threatened to make things difficult but no ... very swiftly the wedding was moved into the quaint charming slab hut ..so rustic and spiritual with the church pews ...I can't think of a better setting in there overlooking the river.
Most of our families stayed onsite ..I stayed with my elderly Mother and a friend in a gorgeous cottage ... I will come back on my own for a retreat. The horses meandering around ...the bird song ..
The care and attention to detail and concern for our happiness and comfort was amazing.
We even had our post wedding brunch there the next day with a band playing.
If ever you are considering a wedding, a reunion, a retreat ..or just a few days away from the madding crowd. DO ... Don't hesitate. DO.

Well, we have to say "thank you". The weather was so unpredictable, yet, never was your spirit dampened. You were such a wonderful group to work with. When plans were changed at the last minute to adapt to the pouring rain everyone was happy to "go with the flow". We are incredibly happy to hear that you had such a wonderful time ~ the photos are gorgeous! We certainly look forward to sharing this magical place with you, and hopefully in the sun, next time.

My partner organized a surprise 50th at the cottages and the months of preparation paid off when the place was setup exactly as requested. (Thanks Tony for organising the hens night to visit from across the creek...only kidding). I have told so many of my clients and now I needed the time to thank you. Thanks Tony and Kerrin, you really know how to be wonderful hosts

“Amazing, picturesque cottages in stanthorpe - lovely holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 December 2011

We had a great time staying at this beautiful family owned and run set of cottages. All of the reviews are very accurate about the level of kindness and hospitality bestowed on guests. We stayed in the wing o the main house and it was quiet and very private. Coming home to a warm fire and waking up to a cooked breakfast was lovely. Great weekend.

“Absolute Bliss!”

Greeted on arrival with smiles and welcomes by our lovely hosts and surrounded by the most lovely gardens, full of blooms and greenery. A group of 11, we had the place to ourselves and made the most of the situation. The cabin we used for our bbq dinner the first evening was fantastic, with a view to die for and a warm fire when the evening cooled down. Our cabin was wonderful, we shared with another couple and each had our own ensuite with all the necessities provided. Everything was clean, modern and smelled beautiful inside. Fresh coffee grounds for plunger coffees, handmade biscotti, everything was just wonderful. Highly recommend Diamondvale B & B and we'll definitely be back!

Room Tip: There are no bad rooms! All the cottages were lovely. We didn't stay inside the main building.

“We'll be back to Diamondvale B&B”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2011

Hi,

Thanks to Dimondvale again for their welcome and kind assistance last weekend. The cottage was large, modern, comfortable, smelt lovely and was warm!!!. Great location, look out the big window to watch wallabies and birds feeding. So peacefull, we slept in till 8, unheard of !!!

Particularly thanks for lighting the fire Sat afternoon, a lovely suprise to return to the cottage with the fire going and warning up, after all the cold wind rain & hail we battled to win out wine and other goodies, we really appreciated it.

Tried a few of the wineries that Melissa recommended & the bramble patch, all good.

We also wanted to say, we thought Melissa have a great attitude and such friendly nature. Besides that you cooked up a storm for breakfast and delivered on time with a smile.

Loved the dogs, they were such a happy bunch of soles.

Thanks again, we will definitely recommend Diamondvale B&B to our friends.

Cheers,
David & Marg
