Away from the hustle and bustle, the waterfront bungalows we have stayed in have been just fantastic. The rooms are simple but clean and well equiped and you just can't help but relax and enjoy the tropical gardens and peaceful surroundings. Looking out to the water while sitting on your verandah is a great way to unwind. My son loved being able to sit quietly on the bank late in the evening and throw a fishing line in. The office has a well equiped store where you can buy your grocery basics.We look forward to being able to visit again.We would recomend Maroochy River Resort to anyone who enjoys the simpler things in life and is looking to slow down and enjoy some quality time relaxing with family and friends.

we are pleased of tv with captions because we are hearing impaired need to know what happen on news and show with captions it look better last two years ago . we need disable parking for one or two. we are enjoying relaxing and peace. our son loves go swimming. we are really thanks for staff for sms message let us know about plumber to fix up.

We couldn't fault a thing! The unit was very clean & had everything that we needed. The resort is well maintained and the facilities were excellent for a family. The price was right and fantastic value for money. We WILL be back. Thank you

I was a bit worried about staying here after reading a bad review but I could not have been happier. The resort was a lovely place to stay especially if you are wanting to relax. The staff on arrival in the front office were very friendly and helpful. I really needed internet access and this was provided to me free of charge which was a nice service. Once I was directed to my bungalow I was first impressed with the absolutely beautiful gardens and outdoor barbecue areas scattered throughout. My bungalow was one back from the river, but with the way they have been placed, on angles, I still had a view of the river from my verandah. I thought that it may have been noisy as the bungalows were reasonably close, but I can honestly say that I heard no noise at all. The cabin itself was small but had a kitchen (with all utensils microwave etc), lounge (with 2 beds) and a double bed with a bathroom off this. Everything was very clean and tidy and I did not really think it was 'old'. In fact I was pleasantly surprised and happy. I did bring my own toiletries as per the information sheet but there was also a lovely bucket on the table with a little note saying that it had everything I needed if I had forgotten anything. The bucket also then doubled as a foot washer for outside the door for those 'sandy' feet. What a great idea!
All in all I would definately stay here again and have nothing bad to say about the place.
