Key restaurant has a very interesting menu, most items being West African, North African and Mediterranean. My partner and I both started with the Ghanaian beef light soup, which was beautiful, spicey and flavourful. We then had the Beef Palaver Sauce and the goat curry, both of which were delicious, and very different, with wonderful blends of flavours coming through. We finished up with the trio of gelati, which were also great. Serving sizes were about right, and the dishes were accompanied by rice and salad. Service was attentive and friendly, and we met Simone, the owner/chef, who came past for a quick chat.
There is a comprehensive wine list, and beers on tap.
This would be a wonderful place for lunch, as the views in the daytime from the verandah would be fabulous.
There is still a lot of items on the menu for us to try, so we'll definitely be back, perhaps for the Friday night buffet.
