if you're visiting Longreach, put this at the top of your To Do list. a 45 minute ride out across the 'commons' pulled by a 4-horse team. Not the most comfortable ride in the world, but certainly gives you a little taste of what travel was like in the old days. They even manage to gibe you a headset so you can hear the driver's commentary.

I originally booked in for the Clancy Experience where you go the the River Cruise to experience the Sunset and then come back and have a Drovers dinner. I could not fault the staff at all. Every single one of them has the Best Customer Service I have ever come across. They are like a giant friendly family. They went out of their way to help me when thet realized they wouldn't have enough people for the Night under the stars experience camping in a luxury swag. They tried to get other customers and weren't able to.

They provide me a Cabin and drove me there and picked me up in their own car and even dropped me back at the airport the next day.

The River cruise was very relaxing The trip up the river was great. I was on my own and all the other people on the boat were very friendly to me. I guess for me the only thing I was dissapointed in was the Drovers Dinner. I think I missed that word Drovers!!! It was Drovers Stew, followed by Apple Pie and Custard and Cream. It would have been so much nicer if it had been home made. The compansionship and Poet more than made up for that though. If I was to give them any constructive critisism. It would be to have a Barbie for Dinner instead of the Drovers Stew. A pot of Very Hot Tea finished off Dinner very nicely. It is an art how they make it.

The Bush Poet was fantastic. Very friendly talkative chap. He was areal character. I just wiished my father in law could have seen him. He was great.

After that the next day they also offered me the Cobb & Co Coach Ride with Smoko before hand. This time the scones were great, genuine Home made with lots of Jam and Cream if you wanted it. Then it was on on a ride on the common in a Stage Coach. Once again it is a very informative tour and they rally know their stuff and make ou feel like you are travelling back in time. If youare game or able I woudl recomend sitting up top. You get a miuch better view and experience the wind in your hair as you go for a Gallop.

I would have no hesitation in recomending them if you want to have a genuine out back experience. I would do it again.

Just came back from Longreach. Kinnon & Co looked after me very well.The staff are very friendly. Highly recommend. Looking forward to going back.

We have just experienced the Cobb & Co coach, Twilight paddle boat on the Thomson and the wonderful smoko. Wonderful value for money and even the teenagers loved it. The genuine warmth of the staff and the fantastic night on the Thomson made for a great adventure. The bush poet was a delight and the dinner, dessert and damper topped off a great night. We will be back!!!!
