We were stuck in Kingaroy (at work[IGA]) during the 2011 Queensland Floods. This became our home for almost a week due to John Krebs Bridge between Wondai & Murgon being underwater, as well as every other route home.. We stayed in one of the cabins towards the back of the park, 'Haly' I think it was called. The cabin wasn't overly huge, but it gave us privacy, a place to sleep and night. The only thing I didn't really like was the bathroom/shower, which are likened to being on a ship. However, we were very grateful to the staff during this time, as we got it at a reduced rate.
