We wanted to experience a night in the rainforest, but camping, etc. was a little too close to nature for our liking--this place was the perfect middle ground! The cabins are all very comfortable and well-kept, with electricity and running water, including a full shower. You're surrounded by the rainforest, and we really enjoyed listening to all of the sounds of insects, birds, and other animals at night (through the safety of our screened-in windows, of course). The location is very good, being only about a 5-minute car ride from the Cape Tribulation beaches.
There are also several dining options nearby, as well as a shared kitchen in the main house. The basket contained a variety of fruits, however it would have been useful to know the names of what we were eating and the best way to eat it (cut it, peel it, just bite into it, etc.).
The owners were very nice--we spoke with Dawn when we arrived, and she gave us some very helpful tips about places to visit in the surrounding area. We were sad to leave after only one night--we could have easily spent a week here!
