If you're looking for a great place for a short getaway with young kids this 'resort' offers lots of things to keep the kids amused as well as an opportunity for parents to unwind in a relaxed bushland setting. Its not a theme park, but it's set up so a young family can find lots to do and it's a good base to visit the many attractions of the Sunshine Coast.
I've stayed there a couple of times now on business trips, and while it's not really set up for this purpose, it's been a reasonable place to stay in an area with few options, but keep in mind the cabins are unserviced and self catering which may not suit a business traveller.
It's an expensive option for a single but I can see it offers value for families, particularly family groups. While the cabins are certainly not in the luxury class they're reasonably well set up and robust enough to cope with a troop of kids on a wet day.
This is NOT the place to spend a romantic weekend, it's definitely family oriented.
