Excellent accommodation, loved the decor. Peaceful and relaxing - just what the doctor ordered! And a decent spa bath that you can actually use comfortably.
All staff were pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable.

We had a very enjoyable two night stay at Peppers Mineral Springs Retreat. We stayed in a premium suite with a therapeutic spa. The design of the resort was well thought out and the gardens were beautiful. The lounge in the main building was exceptional. The food was delicious but the service was somewhere between poor and very poor. Food at the buffet breakfast was not replenished and people went without. Tables were not cleared. This was exceptionally poor. At times, there was no hot food of any variety at all. Some guests were really peeved. The service at dinner was also poor. For the prices, one would reasonably expect adequate service. We had to repeatedly ask for water, additional bread was offered to some tables but not all, and there was a sense of laggardness by the two staff attempting to service 8 tables. Having said all of that, the food was delicious.

My mum and I went on a road trip to a destination of her choice - Daylesford. I am a travel agent and jumped at the opportunity to find us a nice "spoil yourself" hotel for the weekend. Being in my profession, I am quite particular about where I stay (actually pretty fussy) and we had the most amazing stay at Peppers Hepburn Springs.

They surprised us with a bottle of bubbles for her birthday, which we gladly drunk while in the amazingly deep and bubbly spa bath in our room (that fit both of us). That evening we went into the hotel restaurant and were served one of the nicest, tastiest meals we have had in a long time - followed by an equally gorgeous breakfast the next morning.

Every person we dealt with at Peppers was professional, friendly and provided outstanding customer service (also something I am particular about in my profession). I would highly recommend this to anyone wishing to visit the area especially professionals, couples and friends wishing to get away for a weekend retreat and "spoil yourself" with the spa treatments.

We stayed in the main house just for a night away. The room was small but well appointed and had an extraordinary Bath! The service was attentive but not intrusive. We dined at the Deco restaurant and we both agreed that the food and service were some of the best we have ever had. There is ready access via a short walk to the Hepburn spa and a short drive to the delights of Daylesford. The grounds themselves are great for a stroll and photography. You will need to drive about an hour and a half from Melbourne but we can't wait to come back.
