We were on a slow ride through the Daylesford area one day just following the nose of the car . We had just had a very nice meal in one of the wonderful small shops , and were trying to find the road back to Sunbury, Victoria , As usual we did happen toget a bit lost but decided to see where the road took us, which was one of the best decisions we had made on that week end . The area was fantastic ,great scenery and a good road . About half an hour later we came into the township of Lyonville ,which is where we had our encounter with the Radio Springs Hotel . We walked in to the hotel and we both said "WOW " at the same time . " How long has this place been here ? " It was one of the most pleasurable afternoons and evenings we had experienced on our trip. The people who were running the place were so kind and helpful . The meals were excellent , and the service was all that we could have expected , and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves . It was a lovely, cosy enviorment , and a fitting end to our vist to that area . I had recently been surfing the net and stumbled on this site . We now live in Queensland but It brought back some nice memories of when we found this little oasis . Thank you .
