This is lovely budget accomodation containing eveything required. There was even a heater for the bathroom. The owners were delightful.

We really hadn't decided whether to stop for the night, but was taken with the town, so looked for accommodation. Daylesford can be very expensive as it's marketed as a 'spa' destination. We found the Daylesford Central Motor Inn, and asked to look at a room. Was shown a standard room, and was very impressed. Large and comfortable, with a microwave, plates and cutlery, tv etc. Tastefully decorated and very clean. We found the fan on the airconditioner not working very well, and mentioned it upon checkout to the owner. I just felt it would be attended to quickly. We had also asked for recommendations for dinner and was told to go to Rubens @ Hepburn. Only a 5 minute drive away and we had an excellent meal. Just beware that if you go, make a booking. We had been told don't worry about it, and basically got the last table, and we got there at 6.15pm! All the rest were reserved. If we stay in Daylesford again, we'd stay there.
