“manse is magic”

Have visited the Manse, both solo and with my partner, and in both blustery weather and.sunny.
the Manse lends itself to either setting, bit I think I preferred the rain.
It gave me great reason to bunker down with an open fire, a huge bath and a drop of port.
Stayed in the Green room both times. Perfect for one: a lot of furniture to navigate around for two.
The masseuse, Leonie, works magic and is worth returning for, and the dry wrap bath, post massage, is amazing.
I shall return!

“"Wow" What a great place to stay!”

This was our first visit to Daylesford and what a great way to begin. We checked in to the 'Blue Room' and absolutely everything was thought of, a cold bottle of bubbly, chocolates, Port, open fire, gorgeous bath and so much more. Ally the manager was wonderful, she arranged the perfect package in the Day Spa. Overall we couldn't have asked for more. This is a perfect place to stay.

“Wonderful experience”

We stayed at The Manse in lovely spring weather of 2011. The house is impressively positioned above the street overlooking this beautiful town. This was our first stay at The Manse and we are very much looking forward to returning. It's a character filled place of true old world charm. Both my wife and I had a fabulous experience in our seven day stay. It's a gamble booking for such an extended time in place untried, but we were not disappointed. Ally is a most helpful, generous and very friendly host. We had a wonderful time here and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet stay and wishing to soak up the atmosphere, enjoy a deep bath and relax by one's bedroom open fire. We are very much looking forward to returning and would not consider alternative accommodation in Daylesford.

“Amazing weekend, truly perfect, we'll be back each month!!”

This was our third stay at The Manse and we had yet another fabulous experience!
A truly beautiful Edwardian mansion, wonderfully maintained and managed.

It's the most perfect place for couples in Daylesford, the rooms are romatic and intimate. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing and when you arrive you feel as though you're slipping into another world. We also love the location as we can usually walk to all our favourite eating/drinking places (The Perfect Drop, The Farmers Arms & Cliffy's) and the Sunday Market.

How magical it is to enter your gorgeous room, light a fire, soak in a lovely clawfoot bath, have a glass of champagne and then be collected by a charming massage therapist to start your pampering session! HEAVEN!

Upon Ally's advise I tried the in-house day spa and I'm so very pleased I did! I had an amazing 1.5 hour massage with Chris which completely transformed my mind and body! My treatment finished with a "Float", which I had never had before. You lay clothed on a this structure that looked like an unusual bed, you're wraped up and then what you're lying on sort of falls away, it internally fills up with warm water and you are left held snug, dry and suspended. I don't know if I'm describing it very well but it's a unique and relaxing experience!

I must also mention that the day spa rooms are beautiful too.

If you are looking for the perfect place to stay in Daylesford, then look no further than the The Manse!

Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely and different, we stayed in the
