We have visited this hotel several times in the past and have been happy with it, Unfortunately it now seems to be getting a bit tired and they appear to be cost cutting.

We have visited twice recently. On the first occasion, several things were missing, We had to ask for teabags and extra pillows, There was no lid on the toilet, there wasn't a chair at the desk/dressing table, the net curtains were missing...... On the second occasion we had got a toilet lid and chair but still had no net curtains which was a bit awkward on the ground floor. We were begrudgingly given extra pillows and were told they were the last. We were refused a second key as the hotel was busy???

The location is convenient and a pub, Chinese takeaway, Subway and coop are within walking distance.

A more approachable Receptionist would help guests feel better.

We stayed here for 2 nights on 17th November as we were attending a wedding at the Crewe Hall. Location wise was perfect, 2 mins in a taxi to Crewe Hall and we also had a Co-Op, a nice little pub, a Subway and a chinese across the road too. Rooms were typical for the Travel Lodge, bed was very uncomfortable for my partner, but apart from that, it was ideal for what we wanted and for £20 a night, who can complain!

We spent a couple of nights here and, for a town centre site, we found it very acceptable. We arrived early to check in and , because of computerisation, were unable to check in without paying for an extra night. Nevertheless the staff on duty explained this to us and even offered us a hot drink whilst we waited the half hour necessary to check in without extra charges.

The hotel itself is typically Travelodge, which is to say basic but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. The adjacent pub provide an adequate "steak house" type menu and the staff were again very helful and friendly.

Beds were terrible, breakfast package worse. Stay hear only if you on business and spending 6 hours in the room!
