Hard to knock. Great facilities, nice rooms in either the new wings or old building. Magnificent setting, superb gym/health club etc.

I'd argue the restaurant menu is a little limited, especially if you stay there there quite often and don't fancy steak but that is about my only criticism. Good breakfasts too.

Our spa break at Crewe Hall certainly represented value for money. The food was top quality and there was no end of choice. The spa treatments were also excellent, I had the face massage and back and neck massage. The Spa staff were very friendly and helpful. Perhaps the Health Club staff would benefits from going on the same customer service training as the spa staff as we found them to be less than helpful.
My only suggestion for improvement would be to review the seating arrangements around the pool as we had no option but to stand around when really you want a place to sit and chat with the option of going into the sauna, pool etc

Stayed just for 1 night on business and this hotel is beautiful. From the moment you turn into the driveway you know it is of good quality. Stayed in the new part of the hotel which was very nice, little hard to find the room at first as lots of corridors. Brasserie meal was delicious and service was very good. Bar area quite cold and did not feel like a comfortable hotel bar, revolving bar was also little strange and not 100% sure I liked it. Late bar was very cosy and more in keeping with the style of the hotel. Never managed breakfast so can't comment but am sure if anything like the dinner it would have been lovely. Will defiantly return with partner for a leisure break.

having been given a voucher for afternoon tea we visited yesterday.The staff were very attentive and the tea was lovely,including sandwiches scones cake and a small but tasty eton mess. Overall a lovely experience
