Pretty Hotel, with friendly staff. Beautiful pool area and gardens. Spa on premises, which I didn't use, also restaurant, which I did try.
Only problem--when I went to pull back the covers on my bed, there was a dead bug on the pillow. Immediately thought, uh oh! Bedbugs! and reached for my phone to look up on the internet. Maybe, maybe not, but when I found another one after dinner in the bed, that was the end of all possible sleep for the night!
No, I wasn't bitten, but I spent the entire night turning on the light and checking the bed, imagining that I felt bugs. Didn't see any more, though.
Hotel room is on the rustic side, and could have been cleaner. I'm told this is the nicest hotel in town (ONLY hotel that I saw!) But after my surly staff in Hotel Mexicana in San Cristobal, I was so relieved to have nice people that I would still recommend this hotel! I would bring repellant next time, though.

Charming hotel with swimming pool and lovelly garden ( there is also a spa)
Ask to not to be on the street side because the isolation is not very good.
Good situation : 5mn by feet to go to see the Sumidero of Chiapa de Corzo (Chiapas)
