During my extended stay in beautiful Ajijic, Jalisco, Mexico, I was fortunate enough to be a guest at the wonderful Casa Blanca Hotel.
For one month, I was an honored guest, lavished with comfort by the hotel staff while I basked under celestial skies in pristine weather. Every morning, I would ascend the circular stairs that led to the roof, breathing deep the freshness of the air and taking in the 360-degree panorama of Ajijic, the mountains behind, and the sparkling Lake Chapala ahead. A wholesome breakfast already prepared by the staff would be waiting for me downstairs with hot coffee and tea steaming on the quaint tables in one of the courtyards. Surrounded by lush foliage, the sounds of nature, I ate, drank, and chatted with the many friends I made during my stay.
In the guest rooms, the beds are large and comfortable with plenty of pillows. The showers are strong, and the water clean. The floors are tiled, and the walls are thick enough that you do not hear noisy neighbors. All the rooms have televisions and free access to speedy wi-fi.
Near the lobby, guests gather around, laugh, and converse with one another while enjoying sports and movies on the large flat-screen HDTVs. You can order delicious food made fresh, served fast, and custom drinks from the fully-stocked bar.
I cannot praise this hotel enough. I'm eagerly awaiting a return trip!!!More
