I stayed there for 3 nights in early March and was more than impressed with the rooms, staff and service, the breakfast was a bonus (excellent ) very social atmosphere and Joseph was more than helpful to answer any questions. Perfect location, close to the Lake as well as the central Plaza and shops... Would I stay there again?? you bet, in a minute..

The owner, Joseph and his staff go above and beyond for all their guests and do it with amazing ease! The hotel is small and beautufully decorated in a middle eastern theme, not what you would expect in Mexico, but it works! Walking distance to wonderful art shops and great resturants. Also only 40 minutes away from downtown Guadalajara which is great if you want to go and spend the day in the big city, then come back to Casa Blanca and relax in this unique boutique hotel, with its comfy beds, flat screen TV's and quiet location. Thank you Joseph, we will be back again soon!

On our first trip to Lake Chapala area, we really enjoyed our 4 day stay at Casa Blanca in Ajijic. Joesph, the owner, ended up being our personal tour guide - picking us up at the airport, and delivering us 4 days later to Tlaquepaque, with suggestions on where to dine and what to see. Accommodations were clean, and comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful. A very positive experience; I would not hesitate in choosing this hotel again when returning to area. Always felt safe, a quiet location close walking distance to all Ajijic attractions.

I have to admit I was looking forward to an omelet that a previous writer mentioned, but that was not to be. I was offered fried cheese between 2 tortillas. It was ok but I moped a bit about the omelet. The staff was very friendly and arranged for a car - 400 pesos - for a private car from the hotel to the Guadalajara bus terminal. It's the same price as a taxi, but the young fellow who drove me was polite and a good driver, so I was happy. I was in room 8 - very near to the bar. Luckily the bar got quiet by 10 pm so it was absolutely no problem. would I stay there again/ You betcha!

My room was perfect: a large king size bed, soft sheets, nice light and bright interior. Kitchenette which included a small microwave, refrigerator, dishes, wine glasses, etc...all that one would need to savor the leftovers from the incredible restaurants surrounding the Casa Blanca. Nice, quaint, private balcony directly in front of my room, and plants galore. Large beautifully tiled shower and excellent cleaning service each day. Continental breakfast each morning on an open patio, next to a serene fountain filled with water lilies and 3 very friendly turtles that enjoy basking in the sun.

The wine/sports bar is an excellent place for gathering, and for gathering information. We all gravitated to this area in the afternoon and shared our experiences of the day.

All of the staff of Casa Blanca were more than friendly. So personable and helpful, I felt like I was staying in someone's home.

I highly recommend staying at Casa Blanca, especially if it is your first visit to Ajijic. They will do all that is possible to insure you have an incredible stay.
