This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was dirty - hair in the sink, bathtub and on the floor. "Hot tub" was a nasty mess. The room was noisy, and stuffy. When we talked to the manager on duty, they admitted there was a lot of people checking in and as they were over booked, they could not move us to another room, they could only offer a refund if we left the room/hotel (at 3:00am!). When asked in the morning how the stay was - we answered that we we not very happy - the staff said "i guess you wont be leaving a tip for the cleaning staff". We spoke with HQ, and said they would be in touch with the hotel. Our issues never resolved to our satisfaction as a result we will never stay at another Howard Johnson - EVER. Dont waste you money, time or sleep on this place. We would have slept better in our truck on the side of the road.

The NEW OWNERS of this Hotel wish to send you our regards to your terrible nights stay. Naomi and John have been running this Hotel since February 2009, and we have not had one complaint. Your complaint was dated June 23, 2009 but your stay was in June 2008. This looks like a reflection on us, but it is not. Can you please re-word your complaint to reflect the old owners and staff, not the new ones.
