We recently spent 2 nights here and have to say that it was the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Breakfast was original and inspired. Monique is a great cook and addicted to chocolate which shows up in unexpected and tantalizing places on the menu. The decor is great, not at all cutsy like many B&Bs, and the rooms are lovely. Ours was large and had a hammock in the room facing west through a large bay window. We had views of the gardens and the sunset. We also had a separate bathroom with a great tub. The two other rooms had their own batrooms and showers in the room, but we liked ours best.
The property is quiet, beautifully landscaped and set back well from the road. It was originally a farm. There is a large living room with a fireplace. The dining room is surrounded with glass on 3 sides and looks out over the woods, swimming pool, and gardens. Mario and Monique are thoughtful and interesting people who are both very knowledgeable about wines. They grow all of their own fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Our only regret is that we never ate dinner there, because we had made previous plans. 5 and 7 course table d'hote menus are available. We have no doubt that the food is incredible.
This is a great place to stay in the Eastern Townships!
